Alu-Gard – Security Doors and Window Screens
Our Alu-Gard security doors are made with a robust aluminium extruded frame with a 1.6mm thick perforated aluminium security screen to provide a strong and robust barrier to entry. They allow excellent ventilation, great visibility and are fully compliant BS5039/5041.
Our screens have been fully certified to AS5039 standards across a range of different conditions, including

This means our screens resist the attacking forces of kicks, sledgehammers, screwdrivers and knives as per Australian standard 5041, so you can be assured of great protection. Plus, all our security doors and window screens come in a range of anodised or powder coat finishes with a 7-year warranty for peace of mind protection.
Alu-Guard Vision-Gard
Alu-Gard Vision-Gard screens are built from a robust aluminium frame with a 3mm thick perforated aluminium screen for the ultimate security and protection. Being almost twice the thickness of the standard Alu-Gard product, they exceed the requirements of BS5039/5041 and offer enhanced security and visual protection.
Strong & Compliant
Vision-Gard security screens exceed the requirements of BS5039, having easily passed the dynamic impact test, jemmy test and sheer knife test offering superior strength, performance and protection.
Enhanced Privacy
Our Vision-Gard screens’ unique pattern of perforations allows for enhanced visual security. This reduces the home’s visibility from the outside whilst maintaining excellent visibility from the inside to help protect your privacy.
Bushfire Safe
With an aperture of just 2mm, Vision-Gard security doors and screens offer enhanced fire protection and are suitable for bushfire areas rated BAL 29 or lower.
Alu-Gard security doors are available in anodised or a wide selection of powder coated finishes and can be colour matched to your existing door and window frames.

Every Alu-Grille door comes complete with insect or privacy screening which sits behind the diamond grilles. This ensures excellent ventilation and visibility whilst keeping flying insects and pests out.
